According to the Bank’s website, the TA will assist market development initiatives and public-private partnership (PPP) projects in Asian Development Bank (ADB) Developing Member Countries (DMCs) that are classified as Fragile and Conflict-Affected Situations (FCAS) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). The TA will support DMCs in markets development and in delivering PPP projects which are sustainable, resilient, deliver quality, and facilitate inclusive growth. The scope of the TA will cover markets development initiatives and policy support, transaction advisory services (TAS), project due diligence, project preparation and structuring, developing financial models, assessing project financial viability, preparing project documentation (including concession agreements and tender documents), assisting in contract negotiations, regulatory support, project monitoring and performing other activities as may be required by the clients.

The TA financing totals $2,000,000, of which $1,500,000 will be financed on a grant basis from ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF 7) and $500,000 will be financed from TASF-other sources.
