According to the Bank’s website, the technical assistance (TA) cluster will strengthen gender mainstreaming mechanisms and gender equality results in Central and West Asia (CWA) by moving forward the achievements made under C-TA 0046-REG (a current TA cluster on gender).
To achieve this, the TA cluster will: (i) continue mainstreaming of gender design features in the project pipeline, particularly in challenging sectors to achieve gender equity theme (GEN) or effective gender mainstreaming (EGM) categorization; (ii) expand capacity development initiatives for executing agencies and implementing agencies (EAs/IAs) to include gender transformative approaches and integrate gender considerations in climate change policies and programs; and (iii) strengthen national gender mainstreaming capacities by targeting national women's agencies to develop their capacity in planning, monitoring and resource allocation at the sectoral level. The TA cluster will support gender designs of ensuing projects in the CWA region, capacity building of EAs/IAs and other stakeholders, knowledge events and products, and strengthening of gender networks.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
