According to the Bank’s website, the regional technical assistance (TA) aims to enhance country systems and build the capacity of the developing member countries (DMCs) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in project design, management, procurement, and financial management. The TA focuses on two key areas: (i) supporting executing agencies and implementing agencies in preparing and implementing ADB-financed projects, and (ii) strengthening national institutions’ oversight and strategic management of public procurement and financial management functions. This approach improves portfolio performance and contributes to a broader development impact, with skills that are transferable beyond ADB project financing.
According to the Technical Assistance Report, the Risk Categories are:
Environment: Not Applicable
Involuntary Resettlement: Not Applicable
Indigenous Peoples: Not Applicable
The TA financing amount is $600,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF-other sources).

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main.
