According to the Bank’s website, this Regional TA seeks to increase the knowledge and capacity of ADB stakeholders in business integrity and integrity risk management through multiple channels and products to serve both the needs and desires of ADB developing member countries (DMC), executing and implementing agencies as well as ADB's goals and mission.
This TA leverages partnerships with other international organizations, such as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Green Climate Fund (GCF), and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), to maximize synergies and multiply efforts toward fighting and preventing fraud and corruption in Asia and the Pacific. In addition to building capacity through knowledge-sharing events, this TA will provide support for in-country assistance so that ADB DMCs (and entities within those DMCs) can receive tailored assistance to meet international leading standards in business integrity and integrity risk management.
The TA financing amount is $250,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF-other sources).
The governments will provide counterpart support in the form of in-kind contributions, which may vary from country to country and will be agreed with ADB during the preparation of specific TA activities. These contributions may include counterpart staff, office and housing accommodation, office supplies, secretarial assistance, and domestic transportation.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
