Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the ADB, the technical assistance (TA) will support the Government of Mongolia in preparing a comprehensive strategy and action plan to modernize the business processes within Mongolia's energy system. This will enhance efficiency, facilitate the integration of renewable energy sources, and align the energy sector with international best practices. Additionally, the TA will build capacity to sustain reforms, support the transition to renewable energy, and establish competitive markets with more effective business processes.
The Ministry of Energy will be the project executing agency.
