According to the Bank’s website, the technical assistance (TA) will be a continuing support to the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) member states and secretariat to address persistent challenges to regional cooperation and integration (RCI) and advance the implementation of priority initiatives in line with strengthening the ADBBIMSTEC partnership and the operational priority on fostering regional economic cooperation and integration of the Strategy 2030.
The TA financing amount is $1,000,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund ($510,000 from TASF 7 and $490,000 from TASF-other sources).
