According to the Bank’s website, the proposed knowledge and support TA project aims to facilitate implementation of trade and transport facilitation initiatives in South Asia by supporting: (i) the conduct of analytical studies on a broad spectrum of issues affecting cross-border transport and trade along key subregional trade routes, including digital trade facilitation, and initial implementation of selected recommendations; (ii) engagement with trade-related private sector entities; and (iii) organization of platforms for subregional dialogue, knowledge sharing, and capacity building.
Output 1: Cross-border trade and transport facilitation measures enhanced;
Output 2: Private sector engagement strengthened;
Output 3: Best practices and benefits of trade and transport facilitation advocated and disseminated.
According to the Technical Assistance Report, the Risk Categories are:

The TA financing amount is $1,000,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund ($830,000 from TASF 8 and $170,000 from TASF-other sources).
