Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the Bank’s website, the TA will support the government in three areas: (i) developing an operational framework to implement the new Sovereign Wealth Fund Act, (ii) reforming its state-owned enterprises, and (iii) design and due diligence for a new project Strengthening ICT Systems for Efficient and Transparent Public Investment and Tax Administration Project, Phase 2.

Early Warning System Project Analysis
For a project with severe or irreversible impacts to local community and natural resources, the Early Warning System Team may conduct a thorough analysis regarding its potential impacts to human and environmental rights.

The TA financing amount is $800,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF 7).

The government will provide counterpart support in the form of counterpart staff, office space, office supplies, secretarial assistance, and other in-kind contributions.
