Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the Bank’s website, this TA will strengthen medical equipment management at the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Lao PDR. The TA will have three outputs, (i) equipment management systems strengthened, (ii) warehouse management enhanced, and (iii) equipment functionality improved. Through these outputs, the TA will systematize equipment management operations at the national level and will apply these improvements to the facilities supported by the Improving the Quality of Health Care Project (Loan-4337) and the proposed Green Primary Care Project (Project Number-58008) , to consolidate a replicable medical equipment management model for the Lao PDR

The TA financing amount is $2,000,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by the Japan Fund for Prosperous and Resilient Asia and the Pacific (JFPR) and administered by ADB.
