According to the Bank’s website, the proposed TA will support the Government of Indonesia in strengthening urban resilience and the provincial government of Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta) in exploring new revenue streams, focusing on carbon pricing mechanism, to strengthen their fiscal capacity to implement climate adaptation and mitigation actions. The TA activities will be split into three main components: (i) preparing a design reference or standard for incorporating sustainable transport measures in grade-separated railway crossing development; (ii) developing a road map for the implementation of carbon pricing mechanism and the associated investment plans for DKI Jakarta; and (iii) providing capacity support for preparation of climate resilience projects.

The TA financing amount is $1,500,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by the Urban Resilience Trust Fund under the Urban Financing Partnership Facility and administrated by ADB.
The government will provide counterpart support in the form of counterpart staff, access to existing reports and data, administrative assistance, and other in-kind contributions.
