As stated by the ADB, this subproject, as part of the Technical Assistance (TA) Cluster, aims to strengthen Georgia's transition to a green and inclusive economy. By focusing on renewable energy and data center operations, the project addresses the gap in skilled human resources in these key sectors.
Georgia is poised to capitalize on its renewable energy resources and emerging digital infrastructure, such as data centers. However, the lack of skilled professionals in these sectors hinders growth. With increasing global demand for clean energy and sustainable digital solutions, addressing these gaps is critical.
This initiative supports Georgia's transition to a green economy, aligning with its international climate commitments and regional integration goals. By enhancing skills and fostering gender inclusion, the project addresses workforce gaps while driving sustainable development.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
