Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the Bank’s website, the proposed TA will enhance DMCs' capacities and enabling environments to access climate finance, in particular Pakistan, Thailand, and selected Pacific countries; and improve responsiveness of ADB's climate finance delivery to the needs of its DMCs. The TA will employ a multi-regional approach to identify country specific climate finance needs and benefit several DMCs to the full extent possible. The TA will deliver comprehensive climate investment plans; regional roundtable discussions on climate finance methods and financing needs and priorities; tools, database, and guidance for climate policy budgeting; and knowledge products on climate finance challenges and issues and potential for MDBs to deliver climate finance solutions in the region.

The TA financing amount is $2,000,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund ($1,000,000 from TASF 7 and $1,000,000 from TASF-other sources).
