Project Description

According to the Bank’s website, the cluster technical assistance (TA) will support developing member countries (DMCs) of the Asian Development (ADB) in accelerating the transition to low-carbon health systems that are resilient to the negative impacts of climate change. The TA cluster will operationalize ADB's Climate and Health Initiative (CHI) and enhance ADB's capacity to provide climate and health solutions to DMCs.

Early Warning System Project Analysis
For a project with severe or irreversible impacts to local community and natural resources, the Early Warning System Team may conduct a thorough analysis regarding its potential impacts to human and environmental rights.

The subproject financing amount is $3,000,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by the Urban Resilience Trust Fund (URTF) under the Urban Financing Partnership Facility. The selected DMCs supported by the TA will provide counterpart support in the form of counterpart staff, office supplies, secretarial assistance, domestic transportation, and other in-kind contributions.
