According to the Bank’s website, the knowledge and support technical assistance (TA) cluster will support developing member countries (DMCs) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as they accelerate the transition to low-carbon health systems that are resilient to the negative impacts of climate change. The TA cluster will provide the fundamental inputs necessary to realize ADB's Climate and Health Initiative (CHI), including: (i) improving knowledge and evidence of the gender-differentiated health impacts of climate change and the most effective strategies to strengthen climate resilience within health systems; (ii) building the capacities of DMCs to design and implement innovative, evidence-based gender-responsive climate and health solutions; and (iii) developing a pipeline of transformative investments that will strengthen climate-resilient and low-carbon health systems.
The TA cluster financing amount is $5 million, of which (i) $3 million will be financed on a grant basis by the Urban Resilience Trust Fund (URTF) under the Urban Financing Partnership Facility, and (ii) $2 million will be financed on a grant basis by the Japan Fund for Prosperous and Resilient Asia and the Pacific (JFPR), both to be administered by ADB.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main.
