According to the bank's website, "this is the third subproject under the REG: Business Development and Implementation Support for Nonsovereign Operations technical assistance (TA) cluster. The TA will help PSOD grow its agribusiness transactions along the entire food and agriculture value chain. It aligns with ADB's Strategy 2030 to expand private sector operations and supports ADB's $14 billion food security commitment. Identifying sustainable projects for financing is a key challenge. This TA will address this by preparing a pipeline of agribusiness projects in DMCs that meet ADB's requirements through market research, early-stage screening, project origination, preparation, and processing".

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main.
