According to the Bank’s website, the overall objective is to help India's Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and state-level skills agencies to better position the skills system as an enabler toward improving youth employment outcomes and harnessing the untapped potential of India's youth dividend to drive the country's clean energy growth. The TA team will (i) establish baseline knowledge of the impact of clean energy, and its end-use industries, on technologies, job roles, and skills; (ii) help design skills-building initiatives to enhance youth's entrepreneurship ecosystem for better enterprise development and job creation for the green economy; and (iii) build the capacity of skills agencies to implement "green skills" by using innovative practices, technology solutions, and partnerships with private sector.
