Project Description

According to the Bank’s website, the proposed TA will (i) support a series of ensuing transport sector projects in South Asia during 2023-2028, including interventions for smart mobility solutions and transition to electric mobility-enabled sustainable urban transport; (ii) provide capacity building and project implementation support to ongoing projects; (iii) ensure high readiness of the ensuing projects; (iv) identify potential projects and other activities appropriate for high level technology solutions, and (iv) deliver the outputs as defined subsequently.

The TA financing amount is $2,110,489, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund ($1,303,000 from TASF 7; $213,000 from TASF-other sources; $250,000 from savings and cancellations TASF 7; and $344,489 from savings and cancellations TASF-other sources).
