As stated by the ADB, the Knowledge and Support TA will supplement the rollout of the new ESS2, which is expected to be included as part of the update of ADB's SPS 2009. The focus will be the application of ESS2 to ADB-financed projects and wider support to DMCs and private sector clients through capacity building, preparation of guidance materials and tools, and advisory support to projects.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
