According to the Bank’s website, this cluster knowledge and support technical assistance (C-KSTA) for the Independent Evaluation Department (IED) will support evaluations to help improve the development effectiveness of Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Asia and Pacific region. The proposed C-KSTA will fund a strategic mix of relevant, timely, and evidence-based evaluations using appropriate methods and technologies. These range from corporate, thematic, and sector-wide evaluations to country/regional and country sector evaluations and validations; and complementary and quick turn-around evaluation work.
The proposed TA cluster financing amount is $6.5 million, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF 7) and TASF-other sources.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main.
