As stated by the ADB, the technical assistance will provide project preparation support to a series of ensuing investment projects, comprising the (i) Second Access to Clean Energy Investment Program, and (ii) Second Transmission Strengthening Project. All ensuing projects are among the government's priorities for the energy sector and will require a similar set of due diligence, design, and readiness activities, which will be supported by this TA, thereby reducing transaction costs. Capacity building of the counterpart government agencies and policy advice support provided to the government under this TA is essential for sustainability of all these projects.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
