According to the bank's website, "the proposed programmatic policy-based lending will support comprehensive reforms to develop a stable and efficient insurance sector. It will comprise three subprograms with appropriately sequenced reforms to: (i) strengthen the insurance regulatory and supervisory framework; (ii) expedite technology adoption for robust data-based analytics, product innovation, financial inclusion, and better consumer protection; and (iii) strengthen regulatory capacity to manage climate risks and increase disaster resilience."
