As stated by the EBRD, the project consists of the provision EUR15 million senior secured loan to Green Line Trading LLC (Green Line Trading) and its subsidiary, GLT Star LLC (GLT Star) jointly referred to as the Group. Green Line Trading and GLT Star are among leading local distributors of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) in Uzbekistan.
The loan will finance the construction of an energy-efficiet Class B warehouse and support the Group's working capital needs. The funds will be used to expand nationwide coverage and diversify the Group's distribution product portfolio. The project will facilitate the installation of rooftop solar PV panels, which are expected to supply approximately 30 per cent of the facility's electricity demand.
As stated by the EBRD, Green Line Trading LLC is one of the leading FMCG distributors in Uzbekistan operating since 2009.
According to information provided on the company's LinkedIn account, Green Line Trading is one of the biggest distributors of UzCarlsberg.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF EBRD
The Project Complaint Mechanism (PCM) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the PCM, it may assess compliance with EBRD's own policies and procedures to prevent harm to the environment or communities or it may assist you in resolving the problem that led to the complaint through a dialogue with those implementing the project. Additionally, the PCM has the authority to recommend a project be suspended in the event that harm is imminent.
