As stated by the EBRD, the project consists of an investment of up EUR 25 million equivalent (to be made in PLN) in an issue of senior unsecured PLN denominated sustainable bonds. The bonds will be issued under Pepco Group's Sustainable Financing Framework.
The proceeds of the Bank's investment in the Bond will be used to finance the Group's eligible expenses under the Sustainable Financing Framework in Poland, including purchases of renewable energy, acquisition /lease of certified green buildings and purchases of garments made of certified sustainable textiles.
As stated by the EBRD, PEU (FIN) PLC, United Kingdom (the 'Issuer') is a subsidiary of Pepco Group NV, Netherlands (the 'Group') and the borrower of record for the Group's existing and future financing.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF EBRD
The Project Complaint Mechanism (PCM) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the PCM, it may assess compliance with EBRD's own policies and procedures to prevent harm to the environment or communities or it may assist you in resolving the problem that led to the complaint through a dialogue with those implementing the project. Additionally, the PCM has the authority to recommend a project be suspended in the event that harm is imminent.
