Project Description

According to the Bank’s website, the project consists of sustainable investment and growth promoted; and carbon peaking and neutrality goals supported (Inclusive economic growth)

The knowledge and support technical assistance (TA) will promote sustainability disclosure standards for high-quality development in the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The TA will foster sustainable investment and growth, which aligns with the PRC’s aims to peak carbon dioxide emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060.1 The TA aims to improve knowledge and capacity on incorporating sustainability disclosure standards in the context of the PRC.

Output 1: Research on international sustainability disclosure standards produced.

Output 2: Draft set of sustainability disclosure standards in the context of the People’s Republic of China proposed.

Output 3: Knowledge exchange on sustainability disclosure standards enhanced.
