Project Description

According to the Bank’s website, the knowledge and support technical assistance (TA) will support the preparation of an evaluation system and policies for rural green development for Guangdong Province in line with the priorities of the rural vitalization strategy and the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The TA will leverage the Asian Development Bank's (ADB) knowledge, finance, and partnerships to: (i) identify institutional and policy constraints to rural growth and inclusion; (ii) develop an effective monitoring and evaluation (M&E;) system; and (iii) utilize green financing to coordinate urban and rural development and create synergetic results. The TA will improve relevant capacity for research and evaluation, planning and management, and enhancing resource mobilization for effective decision-making, including key knowledge and support for innovative green financing solutions for rural development in Guangdong.
