According to the Bank’s website, EBRD co-investment with Triglav to jointly acquire a significant minority stake in HPI GMA SA "Trasti".
EBRD's investment is required to realise the current business plan and will be used to finance further growth of Trasti's digital business. Trasti's value creation plan will focus on increasing the reach and efficiency of its distribution network, enhancement of digital capabilities and further insurance offering extension.
Categorised FI (ESP 2019). Trasti is a new client with no prior exposure to the Bank.

Trasti is a fast-growing insurtech, founded in 2017 by a team of experience insurance professionals. It is present in the Polish motor insurance market and operates as a digital insurance intermediary, distributing and underwriting motor insurance policies.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF EBRD
The Project Complaint Mechanism (PCM) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the PCM, it may assess compliance with EBRD's own policies and procedures to prevent harm to the environment or communities or it may assist you in resolving the problem that led to the complaint through a dialogue with those implementing the project. Additionally, the PCM has the authority to recommend a project be suspended in the event that harm is imminent.
