PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The provision of a senior unsecured loan of up to USD 10 million (EUR 8.6 million) to Akbank T.A.S. ("Akbank" or "AB") under the Digital Transformation Financing Facility ("DTFF"), a blended programme established under the Financial Intermediaries Framework ("FIF") to finance digital transformation investments of the SMEs in Turkiye.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
DTFF is the first EBRD Programme supporting digital transformation of Turkiye's economy. Implemented in close collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Turkiye ("KOSGEB"), which provides and administers interest rate rebates for SMEs, and the Turkish Credit Guarantee Fund ("KGF"), which offers First Loss Risk Cover ("FLRC") to partner financial institutions.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF EBRD
The Project Complaint Mechanism (PCM) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the PCM, it may assess compliance with EBRD's own policies and procedures to prevent harm to the environment or communities or it may assist you in resolving the problem that led to the complaint through a dialogue with those implementing the project. Additionally, the PCM has the authority to recommend a project be suspended in the event that harm is imminent.
