According to the bank website, the project involves technical assistance (TA) intended to aid in Mongolia's digital transformation and support the Government of Mongolia's "digital nation" plan by building capacity at the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications (MDDC). The TA will help (i) reengineer business processes to improve the delivery of digital government services; (ii) strengthen the government's ability to respond to cybersecurity threats; and (iii) facilitate stakeholders' adaption to digitalization to improve government services and productivity. The TA is aligned with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) country partnership strategy for Mongolia for 2021-2024.
