According to the bank's website, the "project will support the procurement of an estimated 14.5 million doses of safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines via the APVAX rapid response component (RRC) and the AIIB loan. It will contribute to the government's goal of strengthening population immunity by providing booster doses and primary vaccination to children below 5. The project will also help to develop and disseminate social and gender-inclusive guidelines to ensure equitable coverage of COVID-19 vaccination".

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
