Project Description

As stated by the ADB, the proposed programmatic approach Policy-Based Loan (PBL) will support the urgently required electricity sector reforms to restore the financial viability in electricity distribution in an inclusive manner, improve quality of service and private sector participation and contribute to climate change mitigation by facilitating renewable energy integration.

Early Warning System Project Analysis

According to the ADB project disclosure page, the KfW Bankengruppe will contribute to the project with a US$ 2.12 million grant, and a US$ 212 millio loan. US$ 500'000 will be provided by the Clean Energy Fund under the Clean Energy Financing Partnership Facility.
