Project Description

According to the bank's website, "this program provides a platform for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to support the government to achieve sustainable and inclusive growth and to reduce poverty and inequality through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The program (i) strengthens policies to finance and monitor the SDGs, (ii) improves educational attainment and skills development, and (iii) enhances social protection and public health systems. Subprogram 1 established the foundation of the program through regulatory reforms and pilot initiatives. Subprogram 2 concentrated on the implementation and expansion of reforms established under subprogram 1. Subprogram 3 focuses on institutionalizing those reforms, ensuring that they form a durable part of the national development framework".
