According to ADB website, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade (MIFT) of Uzbekistan requested ADB to provide emergency grant assistance to support the Government's ongoing response, particularly its need to procure medicines and other medical supplies for the treatment of COVID-19-infected patients.
The Asia Pacific Disaster Response Fund (APDRF) grant will support procurement of medicines and other medical consumables, including personal protective equipment and medical supplies for the treatment of COVID-19-infected patients.
