According to the bank document, "this proposed program is an integral part of Asian Development Bank''s (ADB) support to the government''s focus on enhancing environmental sustainability, disaster and climate resilience, human capital development, including health and advancing gender equality. It is aligned with the National Medium-Term Development Plan, Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RPJMN) 2020- 2024. It supports reforms in disaster risk management and health services, and will help manage the fiscal risks arising from future disasters triggered by natural hazards and pandemics".
The project aims to "enhance disaster and climate resilience and improve health services, including advancement towards universal health coverage".

If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
