According to the bank's website, "The knowledge and support technical assistance (TA) will identify, demonstrate, and evaluate how to use high-level technologies to effectively plan high-quality infrastructure investments, especially for transport infrastructure, to reduce construction and maintenance costs, and measure economic impacts. The usefulness of big data and satellite imagery, in the face of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, has been demonstrated, visualizing movements of people and goods and helping government to design response activities. Lessons learned from the TA will be shared and discussed with developing member countries (DMCs) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) operational departments for planned or future ADB projects and government policies in developing Asia, including upper-middle income countries (UMICs)."

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main
