Project Description

According to bank's website, this project aims to adopt an integrated approach to address Tripura's urban infrastructure and service delivery constraints by expanding water supply systems, improving stormwater drainage, enhancing urban roads and connectivity, and upgrading tourism infrastructure and public amenities, supported by improved system monitoring and institutional strengthening. These interventions will enable more reliable and continuous water supply, reduce flooding risks, improve urban mobility and livability, and strengthen tourism-driven economic development. By addressing service gaps across the remaining ULBs and critical infrastructure bottlenecks in Agartala, the project will help align urban services provision with the state's growing economic potential and increasing tourism demand.
