Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the Bank's website, this project finances project preparation support for a series of ensuing projects in Central Asia, comprising: 

(i) power distribution enhancement, renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in the Kyrgyz Republic

(ii) power sector development programme in the Republic of Tajikistan

In addition, the technical assistance facility will provide high-level screening, due diligence and formulation of the componenets for the sector development project in Kazakhstan. All ensuing projects are in the energy sector.
