According to the bank website, the proposed technical assistance (TA) will "support the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and its developing member countries (DMCs) in mainstreaming digital technology in ADB operations with the aim to improve development results. It will identify digital development opportunities, strengthen project design, and underscore the efficiency and effectiveness of ADB projects in DMCs.
In line with Strategy 2030, the TA will support DMCs to enhance their capacity to incorporate digital technologies into development programs including ADB projects by developing concepts of potential projects, organizing knowledge sharing activities, providing necessary trainings and providing technical advisory services in preparing projects. ADB sector and thematic groups will help identify, design, and implement the TA in line with the operational plans of the seven operational priorities of Strategy 2030."

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main
