According to the project document, the transaction technical assistance (TA) facility will provide preparation support to four ensuing loans in the People's Republic of China (PRC):
(i) Guangxi Wuzhou Healthy City Development Program;
(ii) Jilin Songhua Lake Ecological and Environmental Improvement;
(iii) Shaanxi Xi'an Preschool Education Quality Improvement; and (iv) Shandong Jining Water Supply and Drainage Integration.
The ensuing loans will be investments in urban services, green infrastructure, environmental improvement, and human capital development; these are well aligned with operational and strategic priorities of both the government and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The ensuing loans, all in the urban and social sectors, will require a similar set of safeguards, financial management, and economic assessments.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main
