According to the IFC, the proposal is for a potential equity investment into Generation Just Climate Latin America Fund II, LP (LCS II or the Fund), a growth equity fund to invest in mid-sized climate solutions focused companies across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), with up to 80% of the Fund’s capital allocated to Brazil and approximately 20% to other LAC jurisdictions.
The Fund aims to build a portfolio of 10 to 15 investments, with ticket sizes ranging from US$10 million to US$50 million. The Fund will invest in the following themes: (i) food systems; (ii) industry and energy transition; and (iii) circular solutions.
The Fund will be managed by Generation Investment Management LLP (Generation or the Fund Manager), a global investment manager with a strong track record in sustainability-focused investing. Just Climate LLP (Just Climate or the Fund Adviser), an affiliate with extensive climate investment expertise, will serve as the Fund Adviser.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IFC/MIGA
The Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an IFC or MIGA- financed project. If you submit a complaint to the CAO, they may assist you in resolving a dispute with the company and/or investigate to assess whether the IFC is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. If you want to submit a complaint electronically, you can email the CAO at CAO@worldbankgroup.org You can learn more about the CAO and how to file a complaint at http://www.cao-ombudsman.org
