According to bank provided information, IFC is considering an equity investment in Nawy Inc. (Nawy or the Company), an Egyptian proptech platform that connects buyers, sellers, developers, brokers, and investors across the real estate value chain. Founded in 2016, Nawy has evolved into an integrated real estate platform offering a range of technology-enabled solutions, including property brokerage, mortgage facilitation, and property asset management services.
IFC is considering an equity investment of up to US$20 million.
Nawy was founded by its management team who continue to lead the Company. The shareholder base includes institutional and corporate investors. The Company previously completed Seed and Series A financing rounds and is currently raising a new equity round to accelerate growth, strengthen its technology platform, and expand its suite of real estate solutions.
