According to the bank website, "the knowledge and support technical assistance (TA) will contribute to strengthening gender mainstreaming strategies within government stakeholders, specifically select central ministries, state departments, and executing and implementing agencies (EAs/IAs) of ADB-supported projects. To be able to achieve the same, the proposed TA will help, (1) create and strengthen mechanisms that has the ability to plan and incorporate gender responsive measures across sectors in a methodical and systematic manner; (2) enhance the capacity of concerned officers of the state departments in application of relevant Gender Budgeting (GB) tools; (3) develop customized resources, on gender responsive planning and budgeting across select sectors and thematic area; and (iv) develop an e governance tool that collates information on women related schemes and entitlements as also examples of gender mainstreaming practices' across sectors and thematic areas.
