According to bank provided information, the proposed IFC investment aims to support Dorado Free Zone Company (UAE), a leading cashew processor with operations in Cote d'Ivoire, in expanding its processing capacity through the development of a new 50,000 MT p.a. cashew processing plant in Yamoussoukro, Cote d'Ivoire.
IFC, through advisory services, will support Dorado in strengthening its cashew supply chain management.
The total Project cost is estimated at US$18 million, comprising a US$15 million IFC corporate loan and US$3 million in sponsor equity.
Dorado FZCO is a UAE-incorporated holding company, owned 90% by Mr. Venkatesan Rajkumar (founder and Chairman) and 10% by Mr. Vigneshwar Rajkumar (Managing Director). The Project Company, Bluejay Nuts SARL (Cote d'Ivoire), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dorado FZCO.
