According to the IFC, Getmobil Teknoloji Anonim Sirketi (“Getmobil or the Company”) is a smartphone refurbishment platform serving the Turkish market. The Company operates a B2B platform, which provides end-to-end digital infrastructure to offline SME smartphone vendors enabling them to source used electronics, refurbish them as per government standards and sell them to customers nationwide via digital channels. Getmobil also has a retail presence through its B2C e-commerce platform, “Getmobil.com”.
IFC is considering an equity investment of up to US$6 million in Getmobil. The funding will support Getmobil’s expansion in Türkiye.
As stated on the project disclosure page, IFC is considering an equity investment of up to US$6 million. Getmobil is raising a US$15 million funding round to accelerate its expansion in Türkiye.
As stated by the IFC, Getmobil was co-founded by Mehmet Uygun and Zeynep Uygun.
Notable existing shareholders include Dutch Founders Fund II, 212 I, LLC, TechOne Ventures and Arya VC.
