Established in 2011, Dr Consulta Holding S.A. (“DrC”, or the “Company), headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil is a tech-enabled and direct-to-consumer healthcare provider operating a network of 30 clinics in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. Through its subscription-based model, DrC offers discounted medical services and family coverage. The services provided by DrC include online and offline medical appointments, exams, low-complexity in-house procedures, low-complexity surgeries with partner hospitals, dental care, check-ups, therapies (both in-house and with partner clinics), coordinated primary care, and laboratory tests conducted by partners. The healthcare facilities are situated within street-level commercial establishments, office buildings, or inside shopping malls.DrC expansion plan comprises the operation of new clinics and diagnostic centers in São Paulo and nationally, while also enhancing its technology infrastructure (the “Project”). IFC proposes a preferred equity investment of up to BRL 160 million (~US$ 30 million).

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IFC/MIGA
The Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an IFC or MIGA- financed project. If you submit a complaint to the CAO, they may assist you in resolving a dispute with the company and/or investigate to assess whether the IFC is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
