According to ADB website, the technical assistance (TA) will improve delivery of information to farmers to help enhance their livelihoods. The TA will strengthen the existing use of information communication technology (ICT), to deliver low cost, timely and actionable extension information to the smallholder farmers specific to their needs to increase their ability to improve yields. The TA builds on and strengthens the outcomes of the loan - Integrated Participatory Development and Management of Irrigation Program (IPDMIP), to maximize the investments on infrastructure development, value chain services and improving the delivery of extension information to farmers and building capacity of extension workers. TA locations will overlap with IPDMIP in 3 districts to identify locations, crops and strategic value chains which have high potential for improved production, increased profitability and higher income for smallholders.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main
