According to the project document, the proposed project aims to support Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GZAR) in the People's Republic of China (PRC) to strengthen the integration of elderly care and health care to provide continued care for those in need. It will be the first project to be supported by international financial institutions for GZAR to strengthen elderly care services and structure a public-private partnership (PPP) project.
