Project Description

According to the project document, the proposed project is timely and essential to address some of the city's severe development challenges including:

(i) economic dependency on few sectors with insufficient value added locally;

(ii) poor urban livability due to inadequate urban infrastructure and services provision; and

(iii) urban and river flooding and the impact of climate change which are key limitations to the city's sustainable development.
