The Government of Bhutan has requested the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for technical assistance (TA) to improve the competitiveness of the high-value agriculture and artisan products business subsector and its support services to achieve a higher level of competitiveness in domestic and export markets. ADB fielded consultation missions with the government and private sector and agreed with the government on the design and implementation arrangements.

The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
