This project is presented as a comprehensive skills strategy for the Republic of Uzbekistan. At the policy level, this project will create an inter-ministerial working system for forecasting skills needs and the contribution of the education sector to a balanced and inclusive labor market. At the practical level, this project will develop and pilot capacity building activities and the on-the-job skills development activities with government agencies, firms, and regional human resources in three pilot regions: Navoi, Tashkent (Angren), and Andijan.
This is a technical assistance investment through the Japan Fund for Poverty Reducation
ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
