This project provides financing to the Republic of Uzbekistan, to be granted to the State Unitary Enterprise SuvSoz for investments in water and wastewater infrastructure in the city of Tashkent. Investments include the construction of a wastewater collector, and the installation of pumps, valves, and pressure regulators.
The stated aim of the project is to rehabilitate and extend the wastewater and water infrastructure in Tashkent.

The Project Complaint Mechanism (PCM) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-financed project.
